One at a time.

I don not claim to be a nutritionist, but I feel like i do have some experience with losing weight the healthy way. I myself have lost 52 pounds and I'm still going. 100% healthy. I'm here to help with questions and motivation.

One of my junior high students said he was going on a diet. Half of my heart broke that he was part of the statistic of obese kids. But then I realized I was happy that he decided to take charge of his life! My first question was “Diet or lifestyle change?”
He smiled and said, “Lifestyle change. This isn’t temporary.”
He gets it. :) He really gets it. And I’m happy for him.

I was reading one of my last text posts and I feel like informing you guys I am very short I’m a tiny 5’1 and I’m afraid some people will think it is unhealthy for me to lose another 25-30 pounds. It is completely healthy 105 is like the perfect weight for someone my size maybe on the small side but I can always gain if I feel I look sickly.

Just felt like clarifying…

2 interesting articles about undereating, which may sometimes be a problem for active women.

Because every woman’s caloric requirements are different, you should always listen to your body and to how you feel above any number of calories you come up with. You may be eating the precise number of calories that a scientific formula advises, but you feel terrible - if this happens it’s important to listen to your body first and foremost and make the necessary adjustments to your diet.
